How can I prevent a virus?
The best prevention for a virus is to never e-mail anybody, never visit any web pages, and never connect to the Internet. But failing that, we strongly recommend the use of a good anti-virus program such as those provided by Norton or McAfee.

Do you need information on a virus? Did you want to see if the attachment you are about to open might do something malicious to your computer? Do you have information on hoaxes?
How many times have you seen a virus alert come into you inbox requesting that you forward to everybody you know and some you don’t? Many of these are hoaxes. If you use the virus libraries or encyclopedias above, you can typ in the name of a virus like “Kali” or “Wobbler” and it should bring up the listing. What if I already have a virus?
Ideally you should already have and anti-virus package on your computer. If you don’t though, Trend Micro offers a free online virus scan. This service will not clean the virus, but it will at least let you know you have one! It is accessible through the link below:
