Setting up your E-mail
Eudora
- Open Eudura
- Click on Tools at the top of the window
- Scroll down to Options
- Click on Getting Started in the Category List to the Left
- Type in your name, this will be displayed when you're sending out mail
- For Return address type in your email address. For example: yourusername@siteone.net
- For Mail Server (Incomming), Enter the Incomming mail server address:
- Incoming Mail Server (POP3) mail.siteone.net
- Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) smtp.siteone.net
- Your login name is your username
- For SMTP (Outgoing) Server, Enter the Outgoing mail server address as listed above:
- Put a check in the box next to Allow Authentication
- Click on Checking Mail in the category list to the left
- For Mail Server (Incoming), Enter the mail server address from above:
- The login name is your username
- Place a check in the box next to send on check
- Next click on Incomming mail in the category list to the left
- Make sure there is a dot next to POP for server configuration and Passwords for Authentication Style
- Click on Sending mail on the left in the Category List
- The return address needs to have your email address
- The SMTP server should have the correct address as listed above:
- All three boxes should be checked
- Click on Composing Mail in the Category List
- All boxes should be checked
- Click on Internet Dialup in Category List, the only box that should be checked is Have Eudora connect using Dialup Networking
- Click on Replying in the category list and make sure there are no checks in the boxes.
- Under Display in the category list, there should be check marks in all boxes
- Now you're ready to send and receive mail. click ok.
