Creating a connection

Mac OS X
  • From the Apple menu, select System Preferences. Click on Network
  • In the Network Preferences window, pull down the Location menu to New Location. Name the new location SiteOne Internet.
  • Fill in the following values for the TCP/IP tab:
    1. Configure: Using PPP
    2. Domain Name Servers:
    3. 12.26.83.2
    4. 12.26.83.3
    5. Search domain: leave blank
  • Select the PPP tab
  • In the Service Provider field, type SiteOne Internet
  • Locate a local access number and type it in the Phone Number field. You may leave the Alternate Number field blank, or pick another local number
  • In the Account Name field, type in your username (yourusername@siteone.net)
  • In the Password field, carefully type your password. You may click Save Password if you don't want to re-enter it every time you connect
  • Click PPP Options. Check “Connect automatically when launching TCP/IP applications”. Click OK to exit the PPP Options
  • Click Apply Now
  • You are now ready to connect to SiteOne Internet . To establish a dialup connection, you can either start a network program such as a Web browser like Netscape or Internet Explorer, or start the Internet Connect application, located in the Applications folder, and click the Connect button.
